From furniture that combines stainless steel with exotic woods and stones to hand embroidered sheets and towels to mixed silk and wool rugs, the dp studio collection is as eclectic as it is elegant. Meet the Staff

Emily

Diane’s right hand, the other interior designer in the company. Began working for Diane as an intern.  Upon graduation, she followed her dream of living in New York and was hired as a full time employee with the company.  In addition to designing she enjoys baking desserts and catching up on reading the latest books recommended.  Her favorite place to be is sitting on the dock at her lake house with family.

Alex

Our Industrial Designer. Studied in Guatemala, then moved to Norway to work with the Norwegian Peace Corps and Design Without Borders and now is part of the Big Apple and a great compliment to our design team. She’s also a cartoonist and exhibits once in a while wherever she can. Alex just got one of her cartoons published in a book called MailMeArt from London.

 

Jack

If we have to build it he’s the one we go to: the Architect. He’s also a really funny guy who makes us laugh all day long. Without him our days would be a little dull but he makes DPS a fun place to work. Originally from Miami, Florida, Jack moved to NYC a while ago and has been with DPS the longest. He has two handsome kids and a beautiful wife. Sorry, he’s taken.

 

Maiah

The Marketing Person. Maiah is an ’07 graduate of Connecticut College. She spent a year at home in her Boston suburb gaining work experience before moving to New York to work for Diane. Outside of the job, Maiah enjoys reading, writing, and singing. Her favorite days are spent laughing with friends.

 

 

Kathie

Our administrator and savvy technician. Always updating us with the latest technology and programs. Works off from her beautiful home in Montana with a great view, who wouldn’t want to work there.  She’s also kind of an extremist and loves to travel.

 

 

 

Taylor

The intern, every office has to have one and ours is great, always helping everybody and doing all sort of things around the office. He’s currently studying Interior Design and wanted to learn from the best, that’s why he has been working with us since the summer of 2008.
