Product Debut: Māori embroidered fabric

DP Studio is all about helping others and what better way to do that than donating one of our pieces for the One-of-a-kind Valentine creations silent auction organized by New York Spaces Magazine and Robert Allen | Beacon Hill. All proceeds will be to benefit the Alpha workshops , the only non-profit organization in the country providing job training and supported employment to low-income HIV-positive decorative artists.heartvalentine2009_0007modified

On auction will be a one-of-a-kind buckwheat and lavender filled heart-shaped pillow made  with our debut Māori embroidered fabric and designed especial for this event.  The fabric is also environmentally friendly with Hydrogen Peroxide, not harmful bleach.

The heart  makes a perfect shape while it comfortably wraps around your neck while you travel or sit in bed reading. You can also warm it up in the microwave for those cold winter days.

The auction will take place thursday, February 5, 2009 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Robert Allen l Beacon Hill: 979 Third Avenue, Suite 301, NYC.

We hope to see you there!
